How to maximize your CTA train ride?
It depends on where you are, says one of the architects behind the CTA’s first metro trains.
“If you’re going to be on a bus, it’s like going to a movie theater.
It’s very important to have a seat,” said Joe McAllister, chief executive officer of the Arbies Team Transport, a startup that has designed and built the CTS.”
You’re going into a movie, you’re getting on a train, and it’s all very different.
We can tell the difference by looking at what you get out of each one,” he added.CTA officials say the new metro trains will help ease congestion and reduce the frequency of trips between stations.
But it will take some time to get a sense of the ridership and comfort levels, and how the new trains will affect the travel patterns and ridership on the rest of the COTA system.
The new CTS trains are the first in the COTransit system to be built with a fully automated architecture.
Instead of a traditional locomotive, the new train uses sensors and computer algorithms to analyze its surroundings and determine where it should move.
It then determines where the best route to the next station would be.
The system also features a virtual reality interface to make the trip more interactive.
But there’s still a lot of work to be done to get this to the point where the system will be a game changer for riders, especially those traveling from one end of the city to the other.
“The reality is it’s going to take some years, and you’re not going to see this in the next few years,” McAllisters said.
“There’s a lot that needs to be figured out, but I think we have a great team behind us.”
The CTA trains will be the first of many metro trains the CART team will roll out.
The agency has also been testing other rail systems that it plans to roll out over the next year, including a new line to the airport.
The CTA also has a new regional rail line that will run from the north to the south of the metro system.
“It’s not like this is something we just did overnight,” McAlister said.
“We’ve been working with CART, the regional rail company, for years to design and build these trains.”
McAllister also says the CTO is working to expand the CCTA’s network of buses to include new, smaller buses that can be used in the metro area.
He says the first CTA buses are on their way, and the agency is working with the CMT to develop a fleet of buses that will replace the current fleet.
But that’s not to say the COTS are out of work just yet.
They still have to finalize their initial design for the new system, which will be used to test the new systems’ performance in a variety of ways.
And they still need to design new infrastructure and operations for the CNTransit buses.
“Our primary focus is building out the system to make sure it can meet the challenges of the future,” McElshisters said, adding that the agency has been working on a number of systems over the past couple of years to prepare for the arrival of the next CTS train.
“That is our biggest challenge right now, is that we have to put the system into the right place,” McALLISTER said.
